Professional Business Analyst
Purpose of the Role
To be a custodian of the brand, to effectively meet our customers’ needs, and to help build a growing, profitable, sustainable Kärcher.
To support the Professional Business Partner in analysis of financial opportunities and provide day-to-day reports and support to the Professional sales department.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- To manage monthly, quarterly and annual rebate provisions, produce reports & calculate rebate payable for Professional customers
- Working with the Retail Business Analyst to automate all Professional rebates
- Setting up regular rebate meetings with the Professional sales team to track monthly, quarterly and annual rebate accrual rates
- Attending a monthly Professional sales and marketing meeting and offer financial analysis where required
- Reviewing daily, weekly & monthly sales & margin reports for the Professional sales teams (run by Kärcher Global Services) and ensure reports are correct and can be relied on by the business as per the Service Level Agreement between Professional Sales and Finance
- To work with Kärcher Global Services to streamline and automate all reports in SAP Analytics Cloud
- Producing monthly Overheads reports by cost center to support the SLT; provide analytical insight into variances to Budget to support the business in managing its costs
- To run and provide analytical insight into the monthly MARS reports
- Supporting the interim and year end audits with reports and rebate analysis
- To administer monthly and quarterly commission and bonus reports for Payroll
- To track, calculate and recharge AKW. Or price supports as and when required
- Supporting the Professional Business Partner to create and prepare the annual sales budget
- To actively contribute to team meetings, to develop an ideas sharing platform and ensure consistency between the company reports provided
- Completing Ad-hoc reports as requested by the Sales team
- Completing Ad-hoc analysis projects to support the business
Your qualifications and experience are :
- 3 GCSEs at Grade 9-4 (A-C), or equivalent, including Maths and English
- A basic understanding of accounting principles and postings
- Advanced Excel knowledge and experience e.g. PivotTables, higher level formulas, Macros
- Confident, fast learner and analytical individual
