Based in the Harlequin Office Park, Emersons Green, The Central Administration Team is a brand new team and will consist of 4 Central Administration Booking Clerks who will be supporting all of the 10 hospitals and surgical centres across the country.
No two days will be the same, and they will be required to react and adapt quickly toc hanging demands.
The ideal candidates should be enthusiastic to learn and have excellent customer service and computer skills as they will need to work with different administration systems and processes depending on the site they are supporting.
Led by our Central Administration Team Manager, the team will be starting around the same time, will under-go training and induction together and will be an integral part of our central support services to ensure we achieve our administrative KPIs.
Key tasks/Result areas
To work closely with administration and operational managers across Practice Plus Group to understand demands.
Have excellent customer service skills and telephone manner.
Have excellent IT skills and attention to detail.
Be able to prioritise demands in line with booking targets

To react and adapt quickly to changing demands and priorities
To work without direct supervision.
Handling and responding to queries and complaints
.
Ensure when booking theatres that the Referral to Treatment (RTT) targets are met, reporting any concerns to the Central Administration Team Manager.
Build and retain good rapport with all stakeholders within Practice Plus Group.
To ensure that referral documents are scanned to the clinical system according to current time standards during periods of low demand from services, providing support to central support functions.
To book theatre and outpatient sessions within strict booking guidelines adhering to RTT breach dates and ensuring optimal utilisation of clinic lists.
You will have relevant experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to stay calm in difficult circumstances. Just as important though is your flexibility, belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload.
