We currently have 1 x position for an Administration Assistant on a 12-month FTC based in our office in Witham.
Main purpose of the role:
Providing a valuable service in the Administration department. The job involves a lot of structure as you have a number of set tasks to work through on a daily basis which is crucial to the smooth running of the Company.
Duties
- Working out charging on files
- Raising invoices
- Raising invoices within a specific timescale for any vat/duties and customs clearance charges where no payments terms or very short payment terms
- Ametas
- Customer Service
- Liaising with agents
- Chasing invoice queries
- Purchase invoice passing and filing
- Job files filing
- Scanning
- Maintain effective administration
- Any reasonable duty as requested by your line manager or Director.
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday
09:00 till 17:30
1 hour lunch break
Experience / Skills
- Proven experience within a similar role desirable
- Experience within a logistics or transport company would be an added advantage
- A reliable individual with good communication skills both written and verbal
- Enjoy working within a team but have good organisational skills to prioritise your own workload
- High level of customer service
- Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure
- Good organisation and ability to work to deadline is essential
- Diligent with a high level of accuracy
- High attention to detail
- Numerate
- Experience with Microsoft packages
