We are now looking to appoint a Finance/Administration Assistant. This is an essential role in the school to provide efficient administrative support to our Business Support Team.

Key duties
- Input invoices on a weekly basis ensuring they are signed by the correct signatory and the BACS file is handed over to be processed
- Reconcile statements , requesting copy invoices where applicable
- Run daily reports and open school shop ensuring students are provided with goods purchased and any queries are dealt with
- Process orders on the purchase order system
- Support school lettings
- Maintain filing systems both paper and electronic, efficiently and in accordance with current systems and processes

Salary: £23,194-£25,409 (£19,982-£21,890 actual) Level 4 LBC

Purpose of post
To provide efficient finance and admin support to the Business Support Office. This post requires efficiency, confidentiality and the ability to prioritise.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Input invoices on a weekly basis ensuring they are signed by the correct signatory and the BACS file is handed over to be processed
- Reconcile statements , requesting copy invoices where applicable
- Run daily reports and open school shop ensuring students are provided with goods purchased and any queries are dealt with
- Process orders on the Purchase Order system
- Ensure all deliveries are distributed efficiently and in a timely manner
- Maintain filing systems both paper and electronic, efficiently and in accordance with current systems and processes
- Provide support in managing the lettings of the school
- Use IT hardware and relevant software packages efficiently and effectively for the benefit of the school
- Be able to competently use all items of office equipment and keep up to date with developments
- Assist colleagues in the Business Support team with regards to HR and Finance as required
- Carry out duties as per the duty rota
- Undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility that may be required on request of the SLT
- To act as a good role model by promoting school values at all times
- Use feedback and personal reflection to improve own working practice
- Develop good working relationships with all colleagues
- Be aware of and comply with policies relating to safeguarding/child protection, health and safety, confidentiality, GDPR and data protection, undertaking training as required
- Ensure own conduct is in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures at all times
- To maintain confidentiality at all times in respect of school-related matters and to prevent disclosure of confidential or sensitive information
