Term: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, but can be flexible for the right candidate
Location: Home-based, with some travel to London and other UK locations for meetings
Salary: £22,000 - £23,000 per annum
Annual leave: 25 days per annum

We work nationally, delivering our Career Pathways Programme directly and digitally with volunteers within more than 100 state schools and colleges, engaging 20,000 young people, prioritising our work in areas with the fewest opportunities to untap talent in all areas of the
UK. We aim to transform young people’s life chances, engaging them from age 14 and empowering them to take control of their education and career choices. Our programme includes online learning, masterclasses, talks from industry volunteers, business challenge sessions, and access to work experience, apprenticeships, and entry level jobs.
We have grown over the last two years in response to the pandemic, securing some high- profile new partnerships, and there are many more opportunities for us to grow our reach.

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable individual to help us deliver work across all of our programmes, supporting our small team with administration, liaising with volunteers and schools, and booking in sessions. We welcome new ideas, and we are looking for a candidate who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. Home-based and flexible on location, this role will see you working closely with a tight-knit, talented team, and will give you access to our trustees; successful businesspeople and entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping young people to succeed in the world of work.

Role description
Working closely with the programme team, you will play a crucial part in the success of our work by supporting day-to-day delivery of our work. Key activities include:
1. Liaising with schools and supporting delivery of our sessions
- Liaising with key staff within our partner schools to schedule in-person and online sessions (masterclasses, Insights from Industry and Skills Workshops)
- Sending pre and post session acknowledgement emails to educators
- Supporting the development of session content where needed
- Creating online student feedback surveys for sessions and workshops
- Sending feedback surveys to educators
- Collating feedback from students and educators from each session – downloading results from our online tool and working with colleagues to analyse the data
- Contacting new schools to introduce Working Options
- Sourcing school data to confirm percentage of students in receipt of free school meals/ areas of social deprivation to help us prioritise our work in the areas that need us most
2. Working with volunteers
- Holding introductory (online) briefing meetings with volunteers
- Liaising with volunteers to book them in for sessions
- Sharing appropriate resources with volunteers
- Sending information emails before each session
- Sending post-session thank you emails
- Suggesting improvements to the volunteer journey
3. Monitoring and reporting
- Inputting and reviewing evaluation data
- Updating our database with booked sessions
- Adding and updating school and educators details to our database
- Uploading volunteer details to our database
4. General support
- Supporting the delivery of, and attending, Working Options fundraising events
- Suggesting improvements to the delivery of our sessions
- Seeking and sharing feedback from young people about our services
- Attending whole-day monthly team meetings in London
- Supporting colleagues to complete high-quality reports for funding partners on time
- Support the team in meeting our session delivery targets
- Provide data to support the preparation of monthly reports for trustees
- Other general admin support as appropriate
5. Personal development
