Part time Tutor
Casual/Relief basis
Pay rate: £18 per hour
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, outstanding and innovative professional to provide literacy and/or numeracy tuition to support our disadvantaged and struggling KS3 pupils. Tuition will take place during the school day and will involve around 3-4 pupils in a group. The successful candidate will be able to adopt a flexible approach to working patterns and be reliable. Working hours will vary and will be dependent upon the needs of our pupils.
The role:
-
plan and deliver small group tuition and intervention
-
assess pupil progress during and after the sequence of tuition in half termly cycles

Produce feedback reports for teaching staff and Heads of Year

Work with pupils to identify barriers to learning and provide motivational support
Candidates must have:

GCSE above 4 (C) in Mathematics and English or equivalent
