About the role
As a Application Support Analyst within Security Software Service you will be part of a core team that provides technical support to BT and its customers. This team delivers, manages and maintains Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) that delivers Digital Certificates to a range of customers which provide energy services to the whole of the UK and underpins multiple banking transaction.
You'll have the following responsibilities
- You will be part of a small technical IT support team that deals with customers order, issues and queries.
- You will be responsible for managing the relationship between BT and its customers to ensure their issues are interpreted correctly and managed through to resolution.
- Performing very basic diagnostics on customer issues and managing them through to resolution.
- Supporting the rest of the team during incidents and escalations.
- Maintaining a portfolio of information around our services and ensuring our customers information is secured safely.
You'll have the following skills & experience
- Strong engagement and Customer focus – Able to interpret the needs and asks of our customers.
- Quick learner - Able to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently.
- Strong diagnostic and problem solving – Ability to understand and work through complex issues to reach a solution.
- Security Clearance - If successful within this role, you will require Security Clearance (SC). This will be paid for by BT and is not required to apply for this role.
- Technical Background – A basic technical background in IT.
