Job Description
YSA Education are currently working with a SEMH special school in the Sandwell area who are looking for some experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their friendly team on a long term/permanent basis.
The role will be to work with their pupils with social emotional and mental health difficulties. The positions will be based with either KS2, KS3 or KS4 pupils depending on the successful candidates experience and will be for a as soon as possible start date full time.
The school are happy to consider applications from Youth workers and health and social care background. YSA Education are able to provide Teamteach training to provide skills in behaviour de-escalation.
The school offer an extremely supportive working environment and provide ongoing training to all their staff both temporary and permanent. There is parking onsite, and the school is accessible via public transport links.

· Experience in either social work, school based or residential care work
· Experience working with children or young adults is a must
· Experience working with SEMH / Challenging Behaviour/ EBD
· A fully enhanced child DBS or willing to obtain one through us
