TR Architectural services is looking for a Part 1 architectural assistant to join its small but growing team on a freelance basis in Manchester.
We are interested in speaking with both Part 1 & Part 2 Architectural Assistants, providing you have at least 1 years’ worth of experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone to work within the residential industry on a variety of interesting projects. As we are a growing company the initial role will be for a freelance architectural assistant which will then progress into a hybrid permanent role.
Requirements for this role:
- Part 1 or 2 relevant qualification.
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in UK based architectural practice.
- Good knowledge of planning policies and building regulations.
- Experience of conducting measured building surveys.
- UK driving license with access to own transport.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Key duties:
- Working on small to medium sized residential projects.
- Carrying out site visits and producing reports.
- Carrying out measured surveys
- Consultations with clients.
- Liaising with planning consultants and building inspectors.
- Liaising with suppliers and contractors
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/SketchupPro/Photoshop/In-Design
- Must be able to work using own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Present drawings and material in a professional manner where appropriate.
- Carrying out technical and product research.
- Preparing packages for Planning Applications and Building Regulation systems
- Producing feasibilities in 2D & 3D.
