About the service:
We are delighted to be recruiting for a Orthopedic experienced Radiographer to join our 12 bedded orthopaedic ward within a private clinic with an excellent reputation in central London and Wimbledon. The clinic is ideally situated in Central London and is within easy reach of public transport links near Bond Street. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Radiographer to join a leading, dedicated fast-paced private Clinic in Central London. Within this role you will be trained within MSK, MRI and X-Ray. The Clinic specialises in orthopaedics and sports injuries with their state of the art new facilities in West End of London, treating patients who have undergone day surgeries and one night stays. They have Siemens 1.5T and 3T scanners, with Siemens and GE X-ray equipment, and are wanting a determined Radiographer to cover X-rays and theatres. Within this world you will be working with advanced diagnostic imaging, outpatient and cancer care services.
About the role:
You will be working as a Radiographer and will be responsible for:
Delivering the highest quality of care to patients
Strong communication and attention for detail
Staying organised and excellent time management
Ability to adapt to needs of service standards, policies, and patients
Identify people's health needs by undertaking thorough assessments using clinical expertise and experience
Clearly talk through with patients how they can positively contribute to their treatment plan
Gather information on patient's needs within the overall context of their imaging and care requirements
Identity and discuss implication of imaging
To ensure the safety of all patients and personnel within the MRI, theatre and x-ray departments.
Interpret patient data to make an accurate clinical diagnosis Working well as part of a supportive team
Who we're looking for;
Be HCPC - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Excellent MRI imaging experience
MSK or Orthopedic setting experience
Significant Orthopaedic X-ray experience Degree (BSc Honours in Radiography or equivalent qualification)
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
3 years relevant experience in Diagnostic Imaging
Excellent communication skills
Good team worker
