Salary: £24,000-£27,000 depending on experience

The role
In this busy and exciting role, your key focus will be to oversee general office administration and the coordination of the Staff Shop on a food manufacturing site, which supplies major food retailers.
You will undertake shop coordination duties, correctly, safely, and efficiently to the required quality standards. Always ensuring these duties are completed in line with Company policies including but not, limited to, PPE, Food Safety, Health, and Safety, ‘clean as you go’ and ‘Good Manufacturing Practices’ (GMP).
To work as the principle, point of contact for all canteen and vending related issues, ensuring all machinery is in good working order and correspond with the vending company to ensure all machines are fully stocked.
To act as the site administrator, responsible for stationery, printers, post, deliveries, site access and office related invoice payments.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be:
Shop Management:
- Management of 2 direct reports across multiple shifts
- Product selection, pricing, and labelling
- Co-ordination of deliveries
- Stock Management
- Review design and layout of Staff Shop
- Consider how Shop offerings can be improved
Canteen Vending:
- Ensure vendors deliver on time and deal with any escalations
- Daily survey of canteens to ensure all machines are working and fridges running correctly
Site Administration:
- Managing stationary orders, in line with budget
- Organise outgoing post
- Co-ordinate distribution of office-based deliveries
Event Co-ordination:
- Actively participate in our Site Employee Forum (SEF)
- Organise and oversee allocated SEF and Site events to drive employee engagement
- Meet with stakeholders from SEF, site management and relevant departments to determine the objectives of events can be delivered
- Manage budgets, manage logistics, coordinate tasks and set deadlines for supporting team
About you
Ideally, you will already have good knowledge of food safety and have the ability to undertake a food safety qualification.
You will need to understand and adhere to health and safety requirements and effectively manage P&L.
Reliable, self-sufficient, creative and have a flexible approach to work .
Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, decision making and influencing skills.
