We are CCF, part of the Travis Perkins Group, we are a nationwide distributor of insulation and interior building products to the UK construction industry, with over 35 branches nationwide.
Our Newcastle branch is in the Team Valley Gateshead, we have 24 colleagues and 9 delivery vehicles with a footfall of around 30 Trade customers most we know on a first name basis. We have an experienced, well established team and the Branch Manager has created a fun, professional atmosphere with a nice family feel, everyone helps and supports one another.
We are planning long term, so we are looking for future Assistant Branch Managers and Branch Managers, so if you are willing to learn every aspect of branch life, are hard working and ambitious, we would love to hear from you.
Hours - We are open Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm - we don’t open weekends!

What will I be doing?
With the support from your two department managers you will be responsible for all aspects of Warehouse, Transport and Tool Hire operations. These are broken down into 4 key areas:
Stay Safe - Set the tone and champion a Stay Safe culture within our branch, ensuring that Health and Safety regulations are adhered to and that staff are aware of their specific responsibilities.
Operations - Ensure all transport related risk assessments, training records, driver licences and other Health and Safety documentation is checked periodically. Follow up action as necessary.
Compliance - Including auditing, goods in and goods out, dealing with our suppliers.
People - Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help coach a team to deliver the highest standards of service.
