What you'll be doing
As a Track Operative, you will have the following accountabilities:
- Assist with carrying out Track Renewals work as directed by the Supervisor/Track Chargeman.
- Understand and be conversant with all expected safety behaviours.
- Assist with auxiliary duties as required.
- Sound/Some knowledge of Permanent Way Renewals, particularly concerning
component parts.(or willing to learn)
- Knowledge of Rules and Regulations, HASAW Act and other appropriate
statutory regulations.
- Willing to work weekends & unsociable hours when required
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
- Demonstrable experience of general Track work/Renewals(Essential)
- PTS (Essential)
- COSS, Lookout, Hand signalman, Small Plant proficiencies.(Preferred)
- Ability to work as part of a team(Essential)
- Ability to drive.
