Location: ABERDEEN SHERIFF COURT
Outline of job role and purpose – Your main role as an administrative officer at ABERDEEN SHERIFF COURT is to prepare paper work for criminal or civil court hearings and provide assistance to the Sheriff Clerk in processing court business and processing court fees. Working closely with the Clerk of Court, and other justice partners you will assist in the efficient running of courts, You are also responsible for providing information to members of the public, court users, solicitors and sheriff’s regarding court procedure, case progression and outcomes of cases, this will be done in person, by telephone or email. Our ‘in-house’ computer systems will be used for processing court work and full training will be provided.
Outline of candidate profile – You must be customer focused and be able to provide a high quality service to all court users. You should be able to adopt a flexible approach to your work and be prepared to work in a team environment and be willing to develop and acquire new skills as your job demands.
