Technical Operator Setter
Liverpool based
Salary: £38,200 basic plus, 5% pension, 25 days holiday, private medial
Shifts 4 on 6 off, including an 18 day break
6-6 (days & nights)
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Operator Setter to join the team at global food manufacturing company in Liverpool.
Key responsibilities:
- To set up packaging lines and scada system

To operate all parts of the packing plant including product preparation, processing, testing & packing and warehouse duties and loading vehicles for customer deliveries,

Operate all parts of the main product preparation and process plant to optimise the efficiency of production.

Operate all the ancillary operations including chiller, hot water system, compressors etc.

Carry out loading of pallets into warehouse racking and picking of orders for loading onto delivery vehicles. Load delivery vehicles in line with customer needs.

Ensure all food safety and Quality requirements are met. Work with others to continually improve the Food Safety and Quality systems including completion of internal audits and plant inspections.

Complete all documentation accurately and as required by site procedures.

Use computerised Maintenance management system to log any faults on the plant

Work with reliability technicians to complete maintenance tasks where applicable
Key requirements

Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

NVQ Level Education or equivalent

Food/ Chemical/ Process/ or manufacturing background preferred.
