SCP, an RSK Company, is looking for a Graduate Transport Planner to join their team of a full time, permanent basis. This role will be based in Leeds and you will be joining a growing team, who cares greatly about the development, training and diversity of their growing workforce. This position could also be based in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support and assistance to senior staff

Liaison with the client and project teams

Assistance in the preparation of technical reports to support planning applications

Undertake traffic flow analysis and junction modelling
Person Specification
-
Relevant degree in Geography, Planning, Engineering or other related transport planning discipline

Understanding of planning and transport policy as applied to development proposals

Knowledge of the relevant highway standards, including the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual for Streets

Aspire to work towards professional qualifications

Strong analytical skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Experienced in use of Microsoft products including Excel, Word and Power Point
