As a Project Manager, you will support the development and delivery of Adult Services within Suffolk Family Carers, managing relationships, staff and devising new initiatives.
You will initially focus on supporting the Carers Assessment Teams at Suffolk Family Carers to deliver quality, timely assessments.
Additionally, as part of this role you will:
· Be responsible for the recruitment, management and supervision of staff including development and coaching
· Prepare for and actively participate in supervision, objective setting and development discussions.
· Support the success of the organisational strategy and agreed contract outcomes by helping set direction through team and individual objective setting.
· Develop and oversee the implementation of processes and monitoring tools in order to provide effective services.
· Proactively identify development opportunities, developing action plans
· Manage budgets and data collation
In addition to the above, we are looking for someone who has:
· Detailed knowledge of health and social care structures
· Knowledge of carers assessments, or similar
· Knowledge of Working within tight deadlines and a firm understanding of achieving targets
· Ability to identify and implement improvement to processes and procedures
· An understanding of dementia
· Experience of managing, implementing and developing a service with the ability to effectively manage change
· A good understanding of the impact of a caring role, health inequalities and how they affect individuals
· A solution focused, proactive approach
· Excellent IT skills, including Excel
You will need to be able to work flexibly and be able to travel between locations as required.
This role will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, which will be carried out following acceptance of any offer made to the successful candidate
