Job Description
Cirrus Primary Academy Trust is looking for a friendly and reliable Premises Assistant with a hands-on approach and a 'can do' attitude who can help us maintain and develop our school premises to the highest possible standard. You must be an enthusiastic and dedicated person with suitable experience.
Experience of small DIY jobs and repairs and any experience or knowledge of basic building repair and maintenance would be advantageous.
You should be willing to develop your skills and take on additional responsibility, in time, with all necessary training provided.
Working with the Trust Premises Manager, the role will involve ensuring that the school meets Health & Safety standards and is welcoming, clean, well maintained, safe and secure at all times.
The ideal candidates must be hardworking, focussed and willing to be flexible with hours and tasks. You will be responsible for a range of premises duties connected with the fabric and grounds of the school. You will be conscientious, dynamic and work well as part of a team.
This is a full time post (36 hours per week / 52 weeks). Our schools are generally open from 6:30am to 18:30 with occasional lettings in the evening and some weekends for which overtime will be paid.
The role will be part of the central premises, however the role will be deployed to work in one of our schools all located within the London Borough of Sutton. The role will involve working a split shift, 7am-10am returning 2pm-6pm
