Salary: From £38,000 per annum negotiable depending on experience
Contract: Permanent
Location: Hybrid - flexibility to work from home or at any of our main hubs (London, Bristol, Manchester and Harwell)

The UX team sits within our Software development group and is made up of fellow UX practitioners who work together to solve business wide challenges, improve processes, and create operational efficiencies. Individuals work autonomously as embedded members of product teams, providing their specialist skills to deliver compelling user experiences.

Our UX designers work across the UX spectrum, following a user-centred design process. From discovery and definition to development and delivery, this role plays a crucial part ensuring product teams are building the right things and building the things right.

About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team. In this role, you will design and shape our digital products, ensuring they provide an intuitive and enjoyable experience for users.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and conducting user testing to meet the needs of our users.
Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of UX and UI design principles, experience in UX methodologies, and excellent communication skills.

Key Experience:
  • Skills – Fluency in UX/UI process, tools, and methods and able to defend designs decisions with user research and other tools
  • Ownership – Own designs for complex features and mid-sized projects ensuring projects maintain forward momentum
  • Collaboration – Articulate design decisions to influence direction and synthesise multiple inputs and feedback from stakeholders into a cohesive approach that builds shared understanding
  • Impact – Identify and deliver to project goals and designs holistic experiences with big picture strategy
