My technology solutions client are urgently on the lookout for a tester on permanent basis. The role will involve working with the development and engineering teams to ensure product releases are of an appropriate quality level through manual and automated testing
Responsibilities and Duties
● Work with the other members of the testing team to implement a manual test strategy
● Work with the engineering team, to specify automated regression and smoke (priority) pre-release (development) and post-release (operational) testing across Integration, Pre-Production and Live environments
● Identify defects, document said defects, how to replicate them and where possible suggest remediation
● Engage with the product / delivery team to ensure consistency in testing across product releases
● Plan and prioritise work to make testing as efficient and effective as possible
Skills
● Experience with Cypress and Playwright
● A proven track record in manual (and possibly automated too) testing implementation on .net platforms
● Hands-on expertise in DevOps, JIRA or ClickUp.
● Desirable: experience in any of the following: Selenium and other test tools, e.g. , Cypress, Postman, Specflow (BDD), Test Project PlayWright JMeter, BlazeMeter, BrowserStack etc.
● Excellent deductive and inductive reasoning and problem-solving; the ability to think logically and step through problems rigorously
● Business and commercial acumen to provide context to the solutions under test
● The ability to work with multiple stakeholders throughout the business to deliver a broader strategy
● Also advantageous: ISTQB foundation (or equivalent) qualified, Certified Agile Tester, Experience of High-volume transaction systems and regulated markets Cloud hosted solutions (e.g. AWS, Azure)

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
