Job Description

Position: Estate Warden

Salary: £19,408 - £20,344 (£20,427 - £21,412 from 1st April 2023)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Grade: EVH TAS 2

Contract: Permanent

Wellhouse is a confident, financially sound, community controlled housing association with plans for £3m investment in the coming years, new community initiatives, substantial IT upgrades and the provision of new housing. We are looking to enhance our Maintenance function and are seeking to recruit an Estate Warden.

We are a community based organisation in greater Easterhouse managing 798 rented homes and providing a factoring service to 52 home owners. The Role:

We are looking for: an ESTATE WARDEN

The main objectives of the role are:

To provide an effective, efficient and responsive estate warden service to the Association’s customers, including existing tenants, potential tenants and owner occupiers.

To assist the Estate Warden Supervisor to ensure that Wellhouse community and surrounding area is maintained to the highest standard possible within the parameters of the allocated budgets.

To assist the Estate Warden Supervisor and Assets & Maintenance Manager to ensure contracts are carried out in compliance with terms therein, thus achieving high standards of: working practice; quality of finish; and materials.

To carry out all duties in accordance with the appropriate policies and procedures of the Association.

The successful candidate will also be required to undertake a satisfactory Disclosure Scotland check

On Offer:

This is a permanent post, 35 hrs per week with a salary banding of:

£19,408 - £20,344 (£20,427- £21,412 from 1st April 2023) EVH TAS 2
