Registered Doctor of Medicine - Health Assessment, hybrid office and home based - Swansea
Full time 37.5 hours OR part time from 22.5 hours per week
£72,000 base salary (pro-rata for part time Doctors)

- Experienced Medical Practitioner required with NHS experience, and clinical experience with varied medical presentations including mental and physical health conditions with adult patients
- A diverse position where you will meet patients face to face, as well as conduct medical file review
- Your medical expertise is utilised to create a detailed medical report on each case considering medical note history, presentation at the appointment and relates to the ADL and capabilities of each patient considering their condition(s), and mental and physical disabilities
In this role you will:
- Work in a regular and stable environment with good working hours, relationships and facilities
- Broaden your medical knowledge and enrich your nurse expertise with pharmacological, physical, mental health, neurological and further branches of health and medicine
- Help patients and funders to ensure a holistic and comprehensive assessment is conducted and full written report provided
- Be part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team including varied medical practitioners, subject matter experts (SME) and non-clinicians who are integral to the service to clients and patients
Requirements:
- Registered Medical Practitioner with a full registration with the GMC without conditions of practice
- At least 2 years’ experience in varied medical settings including NHS mental and physical health settings
- Diversity and disability inclusive
- Expertise as a clinician, preferably holding British Medical Association (BMA) membership
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
- IT Competent, able to concisely document observations using IT systems
