Tour Manager Team Leader
Due to expansion and internal promotions, we are proudly recruiting a number of positions for our fantastic client partner, Great Rail Journeys. An established, award-winning, travel company in York!
A full time, permanent opportunity has become available for a Tour Manager Team Leader. Reporting to an experienced and approachable Team Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the administration and support team who look after the Tour Managers.
In a nutshell, your role will involve the effective management and development of the TM Administrators, ensuring accurate written and verbal communication with the Tour Managers, and, ensuring a high-quality service is provided to them.
Managing, coaching & and developing the Tour Management Administrator team to deliver results that involve the following tasks:
· Managing enquiries from internal and external customers and action shared Inbox within agreed SLAs.
· Organising and coordinating webinars and workshop events, including delegates, catering, equipment, resources etc.
· Ensuring Tour Manager (TM) invoices are paid on time and accurately ensuring TM Guides are produced on time and updated regularly and accurately.
· Updating and maintaining the Tour Manager guidelines and process manuals.
· Ensuring TM Team procedure manual is kept up to date & that the TM Database is maintained accurately.
· Allocating meet and greets at St Pancras Rail Station and Airports.
· Supporting the recruitment of new Tour Managers.
· Overseeing the administration of the Tour Manager Ambassador incentive scheme and Tour Manager Visa applications.
· Providing support and advice to Tour Managers whilst on tour, working with other teams to resolve issues and deliver a high level of customer service.
The perfect Tour Manager Team Leader will have proven experience of managing or supervising a team, and will have the skills, attitude and energy to achieve GRJ’s goals.
In addition to the above, this role also requires this Team Leader to have the following:
· Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
· Excellent IT skills, including all Microsoft packages (Windows / Office / Outlook / PowerPoint etc.).
· Flexible and adaptable to change.
· Confident self-starter who is able to work in a fast-moving environment.
· Good general education.
Salary: £25-27K
