About the role
We are looking for an experienced warehouse operative to join our skilled team in the picking and packing department at our North London distribution centre. We are an established dynamic team who thrive on efficiently getting the work done.
What you’ll do
As well as packing a range of daily customer orders you will have to receive daily deliveries where by counting and checking is highly important. You will also take responsibility to record any shortages. Attention to detail and accuracy in stock counting will be key to your success.
Packing experience is essential as is the flexibility to adapt on a daily basis to fulfil various tasks such as from processing light bulb orders to managing large multi merchandise orders. You will need to have a can-do attitude and be able to work as part of the team as well as independantly with confidence. You must be IT savvy and have the ability to use our in-house computer database to print and dispatch orders.
About you

A reliable team player

Have picking & packing experience, including using a 3rd party dispatch system (Royal Mail or DPD)

Have warehouse experience

Be physically fit and able to engage in manual handling/ awareness of health and safety procedures

Have reasonable IT skills and good literacy and numeracy skills

Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, during busy periods.
