Our Client has seven homes across south Wales, they have vacancies in their Cardiff, Caerphilly and Newport projects for Support Workers with experience of mental health with young adults.
They have a need for full and part time workers supporting their residents who children & adults with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder, acquired brain injury and mental health issues. You will be providing person centred care, and support aimed at improving quality of life.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 months experience as a Support Worker, be a caring person, emphatic, and team player.
You will be supporting residents going about their daily lives, providing personal care when required, promoting independence, washing and bathing, encouraging individuals to make their own choices, assisting to carry out activities, administering medication and following care & management plans.
Position is subject to enhanced DBS Disclosure.
Excellent rates of pay £11.75 – £13.75, free DBS, free refresher training.
