A quality sports product and quality sports marketing needs quality sports content and that is why we are now adding a Group Sports Content Lead to lead our production of Sports Content and mentor our team of sports writers.


As our Group Sports Content Lead you will:

    • Set the sports agenda to lead the sports conversation across our brands
    • Manage, mentor and motivate the sports writers within our Creative Department.
    • Ensure a high level of quality sports content across our brands with particular emphasis on LeoVegas, expekt and BetUK.
    • Work closely with our internal marketing teams in order to ensure we are delivering relevant, quality sports output across a variety of channels.
    • Manage and maintain freelance relationships to ensure the best level of sports content in each of the markets we operate in across Europe, the Americas and beyond.
  • Report to the Head of the Creative Department and support the Head of the department with management, reporting and recruitment duties.
  • Combine your experience and expertise with research and analysis to ensure we are providing the most relevant possible content in each of our markets.
  • Ensure sports content across the group is adhering to market specific gambling compliance and regulatory requirements.

Who are we looking for?

  • You will have a strong sports content experience, ideally either within the igaming industry or from a journalism background.
  • You will have proven Social Media experience and the ability to grow a brand's online presence.
  • You will be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the sports content needs across our different markets and channels
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A passionate individual with a creative and growth mindset
  • A true passion for sport with extensive knowledge of the current sports news and trends
  • Previous man management experience would be advantageous.
