Senior Financial Accountant
Amber Beverage UK (ABUK) is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant, to oversee the day-to-day operation of the Finance team, ensuring that the general ledger is maintained, invoicing is completed correctly and on time and recharges are processed.

As our Senior Financial Accountant, you will:
- Maintain the general ledger
- Ensure timely, accurate and complete recording of transactions
- Ensure compliance with statutory and group requirements with processing transactions
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure data accuracy in preparation of VAT returns
- Ensure accurate accounting of other taxes (e.g. excise, PAYE) (specific tax knowledge not required)
- Assist with local statutory and group audit requests
- Develop and document accounting policies and procedures
- Preparation of intragroup recharge invoices
- Administrative payroll tasks on an adhoc basis
- Supervise the Finance Assistants
You will be…
Our Senior Financial Accountant will be:
- Knowledgeable in accounting and financial reporting principles
- Open minded and effective at initiating change and efficiencies
- A confident communicator, able to build relationships at all levels, internally and externally
- Keen to work with multifunctional accounting systems
- Experienced in working in a similar field, preferably within an international organisation
- A strong line manager, experienced in training and developing teams
- Qualified in accountancy (ACCA or ACA)
