The UK Mid-Market team is responsible for building the ads engine in the UK by onboarding & growing advertisers to achieve their marketing objectives with proven solutions and at pace. As our business continues to grow we are now looking to add a Sales Manager manager to lead a team of Client Partners & Account Managers in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and be accountable for quarterly and yearly revenue goals, pipeline management and growth goals across a diversified book of business
- Build, train, and inspire a high-performing team
- Act as player/coach by driving long term opportunity and coaching team through short-term sales strategies
- Develop a deep understanding of Scaled UK brands and convert VP through C-suite relationships to impact
- Work cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Measurement, and Marketing to help shape product, platform + brand development.
- Identify winning strategies and scale the insights throughout the Scaled EMEA channel
- Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales and services for Reddit, including a good understanding of working with advertisers and agencies
Skills and Experience:
- Ideal background: 7-10 years of experience in Digital Media/Marketing
- 3+ years of experience in team leadership roles
- Experience building both Brand Awareness and Direct Response advertising campaigns
- Demonstrated experience using advertising data to craft media strategy
- Experience driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities and established partnerships
- Knowledge of the advertising technology and data/performance measurement trends
- Storyteller with experience communicating the benefit of marketing opportunities to clients
- Communication and presentation experience with an emphasis on translating insights, product information, and data in to client value
- Experience building relationships with top marketing decision makers at brands and agencies
- Proven experience as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing performance measures, processes and systems
- Athlete: Able to confidently assuage client objections. Can identify opportunities and ask for more spend.

- Proven ability to build relationships with VP/C level executives at direct clients + agencies (holdco, indie)
- Thought leadership - comfortable driving initiatives internally as well as externally representing reddit at events
- Proven ability to work with XFN partners to drive initiatives impacting the business as a whole
