Job Description
Our client, a profitable Lloyd’s syndicate are seeking a Risk Analyst to join their Risk team to help manage the risks and potential losses of the specialty insurance markets in which they operate. They are seeking a graduate or someone already with some relevant work experience to carry out a broad role which will include:
- Risk data analysis, review and documentation
- Monitoring the business risk profile and adherence with risk appetites
- Production of management information / regular reporting for committees, management meetings and the wider Group.
- Support the projects that fall under the remit of the team such as the Annual ORSA Report, Internal Model Validation, Stress Testing and Independent Underwriting Reviews
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders to effectively communicate key risk issues and to ensure timely receipt of key Risk metrics and KPIs
- Attendance at meetings as required
- Support in the production of Regulatory Reports
The successful candidate should have a numerate background, with solid competency in Excel, good report writing skills and an awareness of the risks facing the insurance market. You also need to be organised, a critical thinker, able to build strong relationships and self-motivated. A hybrid working pattern is available, alongside a progressive and inclusive working environment.

Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
