Geologist/Environmental Scientist for Environmental Consulting Company (Fremont, CA)
SCHUTZE & Associates, Inc. has an opening for a full-time Project or Staff level Geologist, Environmental Scientist or similarly qualified person in our Fremont, California office.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute/assist with various field work tasks, including: monitoring well installation and sampling; Geoprobe drilling; tank removals; soil and groundwater remediation; soil vapor surveys; indoor air surveys, etc.
- Write comprehensive environmental reports and proposals for a variety of projects.
- Interact with clients and agencies.
Required
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Geology, Environmental Science or related discipline.
- Ability to organize and complete field activities, written reports and other project tasks with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent report writing and research skills; proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Communicate effectively with peers, clients and agencies.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be located within the Bay Area, California.
Preferred
- At least 1 to 2 years of field experience (California experience is preferred).
- Project management experience, including scheduling, budgeting and running projects independently.
- Proficient with Adobe Illustrator.

Pay: $57,600.00 - $65,700.00 per year
