An excellent opportunity for a Planning analyst to join a growing corporate bank dedicated Business Operations Planning & Risk controls team function for a bank that are in growth mode and embarking on an exciting transformation programme with approx.
This centralised Operations planning function was set up to act as a hub for all related strategic planning, business planning processes & change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting senior management in capacity, strategic business planning and budgeting initiatives
- To produce high quality and accurate Management Information
- Produce accurate and timely progress reports by liaising with business stakeholders.
- Tracking and monitoring key deliverables against approved milestones and provide relevant management information in key meetings and presentations to allow informed decision-making processes
- Creation of new processes to control deadlines and commitments
- Reporting of progress to senior management
- This role will give you exposure to senior stakeholders within multiple business areas in the bank
- Help create new business processes that improve operational BAU
Key Skills
- Proven track record in supporting or managing Business Operations projects
- Planning experience within a banking operations function
- Full Project Management life cycle experience
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills -ability to liaise with stakeholders across the business with a diplomatic approach
- Degree Educated in relevant field - Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Accountancy etc
- Banking background is essential
- Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills
The Project Planning Executive would be ideally suited to a proactive, dynamic experienced individual that has strong management reporting skills. This role would suit an ideas type person with the ability to follow through and roll out new initiatives. PMO, Project support type background, with very strong communication and presentation skills that can move into a more strategic thinking type role within the team.
