As a valued member of our pharmacy team, you will help ensure that our customers and patients get the best possible service every time they use our Pharmacy. Duties/Responsibilities- Usual responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;
· Handling prescriptions
· Labelling and dispensing prescriptions (Under supervision where applicable) using dispensary computer system and in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure safe supply to patients in an efficient and accurate manner
· Dispensing (Under supervision where applicable) controlled drugs and make necessary entries in the CD register in accordance with standard operating procedures and complying with relevant legal controls
· Building relationships with other company departments, patients, clinics, suppliers and other healthcare professionals
· Maintaining stock control and cost effective purchasing
· Maintaining dispensary cleanliness and standards
· Managing our patients expectations via email and phone
· Efficiently organising workload and dispensary layout to ensure efficiency
· Providing assistance in completion and organisation of pharmacy paperwork
· Good attention to detail and high levels of concentration
Required skills: Candidate must have strong communication, numeracy and literacy skills. You must be keen towards self-development.
Qualification/Certification required: An ideal candidate will hold a NVQ level 2 in the Pharmacy services or equivalent.
Required experience: An ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a fast- paced Pharmacy.
