CRAFTSTASH, THE UK’S NUMBER 1 ONLINE PAPERCRAFT STORE IS RECRUITING AN ONLINE MERCHANDISER.
ABOUT THE JOB
As an on-line merchandiser you will support the Merchandising Manager in delivering effective online merchandising to meet commercial objectives. You will ensure timely and correct listing of products to both website and marketplace platforms.
You will maintain high standards of visual merchandising across all ecommerce platforms and work with internal and external suppliers to ensure that the best product data is obtained and utilised.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that product pages are effectively merchandised, with accurate and informative descriptions and inspirational images.
- Ensure that category pages are effectively merchandised, highlighting best sellers and key performers.
- Onboard new products including setup, categorisation, creating product description, adding images etc
- Take delegated ownership of several nominated product categories with responsibility for their day to day trading, revenue and profit performance
- Utilise weekly product performance data (e.g., merchandising reports, Google Analytics) and other relevant data sources (e.g., site search reports, on-site behavioural reporting tools) to report on trends and support ongoing listings optimisation and performance improvement.
- Monitor competitors to understand trends and opportunities, including regularly price checking key lines versus key competitors
- Monitor product availability and liaise with purchasing team as required to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained to deliver on commercial objectives
- Support the Merchandising Manager in ensuring that the owner website is merchandised to deliver excellent performance.
Whilst work experience in on-line merchandising role and experience of using Google Analytics is desirable it is not essential.
The ideal candidate must have the following skills and attributes:
- Strong computer skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage and effectively switch between multiple workstreams
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong written English language skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive, proactive attitude
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Permanent and full time.
Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm
Salary: £23k to £28k DOE
