Working as an Inventory Analyst, you will provide daily information around our current stock loss, supporting the Inventory Specialists in providing root cause analysis for high loss departments. Ensuring all adjustments are actioned in a timely manner. Taking a pivotal role in delivering the stock count schedule. Take ownership of maintaining inventory reports that are assigned to you.
Key Responsibilities;
- Support the delivery of the stock count schedule
- Complete the pre audit walks with the department managers, outlining the tasks that need to be completed along with deadlines to ensure the smooth process of the stock count
- Support and facilitate the actual stock count, managing count locations for users – this will be completed using athena and HHT devices
- Support with investigations when required
- Create and support with the delivery and investigation of mini audits for our highest loss departments – maintaining the schedule
- Update the Dump Sale Tracker on a weekly basis and monitoring new SKU’s that need to be reversed systemically
- General Administration Support
- Reviewing and supporting the Inventory Management Inbox, responding and resolving queries in a timely manner
- Create the count packs – front sheets, stickers and pre audit sheets
- Create the counts within the systems, ready for count to take place. This includes set up in Retek and Athena
- Using multiple Inventory systems including Retek, IM2 and Athena
- Role models the Selfridges Values.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Proactive, able to work on their own, as well as with others in a team
- Confident, able to be professional and courteous at all times
- Analytical skills with the ability to identify trends
- Methodical, prioritises and plans tasks, works through changing workload activity to always meet deadlines
- Able to identify opportunities, and have the ability to demonstrate a new way of working
- Experience of using inventory management systems
