We are looking for an enthusiastic confident candidate for our 12-month anaesthesia internship programme to join our friendly and supportive team of Anaesthesia Diplomates, clinicians, residents, nurses and animal care assistant.
The Opportunity:
Our 12-month anaesthesia internship programme provides an opportunity for recently-qualified veterinarians to receive high-quality postgraduate training in small animal anaesthesia and analgesia. You will contribute to the provision of clinical anaesthesia in the School’s Small Animal Hospital and combine clinical excellence with compassionate care. The emphasis of the programme is on gaining practical clinical experience in small animal anaesthesia however exposure to large animal species would also be possible. This provides you with an opportunity to participate in a specialist veterinary discipline and can allow preparation for a Senior Clinical Training Scholarship programme, a career in research, academia or clinical anaesthesia.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Member of RCVS.
- Appropriate English language qualifications.
