Priory Hospital Enfield is a 53 bed hospital in the Borough of Enfield. The service is striving towards delivering excellent clinical care for patients detained under the Mental Health Act with a collective goal of working towards lowering the risks of our patients and supporting them in working towards their goals. The site provides care for male patients in a medium and low secure setting and a recently opened acute ward provides care for male and female patients within an acute ward setting.
Situated close to Central London with excellent transport links and a free car park for staff, Priory Hospital Enfield is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team who are committed towards providing the best care for our patients.
The role of a Healthcare Support Worker involves the daily support of patients on our wards. Our staff work collectively as part of a wider team to develop and deliver a plan of care which has the aim of supporting the patient working towards their goal.
Healthcare Support Workers will engage with out patients and offer therapeutic support on the ward, and will also help support patients in re-integrating back into the community. The role of Healthcare Support Worker is crucial in managing and reducing risk and providing feedback to the Clinical Team about patient's presentation.
Healthcare Support Workers are responsible for documenting the work they have completed with patients and escalating any concerns they have. They will support patients in receiving appropriate care on the wards and are responsible for feeding back to the nurses how patients are presenting on a daily basis.
Healthcare Support Workers who wish to develop themselves can do so with the support of their Line Manager through the Priory "Academy" which can help support all staff in developing themselves in areas which they are interested in.
Due to limits on sponsorship allocations, we are not currently in a position to offer sponsorship to new candidates for these roles, this remains under review.
