Job Description
This Post is part of the Maintenance Team of Kettering General Hospital who provides maintenance services, both planned and reactive, for the properties belonging to the Hospital
The Post Holder is expected to provide a comprehensive gardening and groundsman supervisor service for all areas of the Hospital
The post holder will carry out necessary supervisory and hands on gardening and groundsman tasks to ensure the up-keep and to improve the overall look of the Trust.
The post holder will undertake a planned preventative maintenance schedule for the upkeep of all the grounds and gardens associated with KGH along with reactive calls for add-hock reported defects.
The post holder will be working to established gardening system procedures, good practice, organisational and broad occupation policies. Often working to measured standards and procedures which require specific training; in first line response situations the post holder will need to establish how such policies can be implemented.
Carry out all the supervisory tasks associated with the gardening department. This will include aspects such as, direct supervision of the in-house gardening team, raising and allocating works, creating a site wide PPM schedule, managing holidays, training, tools and machinery maintenance etc.
You would be in charge of the Gounds and Garden team that consists of 3 gardeners
