Graduate Research – Intern to Perm
Location: London N1. You will need to attend the office for the first 2 weeks for training, after which you will be able to work 2-3 days at home if desired.
Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm
This role will start as an internship where you will be paid an hourly rate at minimum wage which is currently £9.50 per hour (increases to £10.42 in April). After a successful 6 month internship you will be offered a permanent researcher role at a salary of around £25K p.a.
Our client is a successful legal research company based in Shoreditch area in Central London. They are looking for someone that has graduated in History, Law or Humanities, with some customer services and research skills to offer support to managers and other team members within their Public Domain division. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person with a high level of drive and enthusiasm, willing to learn.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Ensure that effective and efficient administrative and research service is provided to the Public Domain team

Research records as referred to you by case managers
- Liaise with overseas partners
- Order copies of vital records
- Assist and support case managers and admin persons with filing, letter writing, drafting and preparation of legal documents
- Arrange visits on behalf of representatives
- Input data on the company database
- Undertake training and development as specified by your Line Manager
- Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by your Line Manager or case managers
Skills, Knowledge, Education & Experience
- Degree educated ideally in History, Law or Humanities

Salary: £9.50 per hour rising to £10.42 in April 2023, then after six months will be perm at c£22K to £24K per annum
