We are looking for an experienced Russian speaking educational consultant.
Main goal of position:
Consulting Company’s clients on educational opportunities in the UK, managing the process of
candidates’ assessment, school or universities search and placement.
Responsibilities:
- Executing professional tailor-made services to prospective students and their families via emails, telephone or in person;
- Conducting research to allocate the most suitable schools and programs within the UK education system;
- Guide to school/college/university selection and application;
- Monitoring the updates of partner universities' and schools' entry requirements;
- Keeping up-to-date with the UKVI policy changes;
- Provide professional support/advice to students and parents in order to help them make the right choices;
- Match students to appropriate learning environments, such as special education programs;
- Discuss various issues that have to do with the educational system with members of the school management board so as to understand them and bring up solutions in cases where the issues are seen as problems;
- Carry out maintenance and management of reports and records, and also ensure proper documentation of them all;
- Carry out data analysis as at when due;
- Work in the company software – Insightly, Xero, Trello etc. (adding client info, students etc.);
- Research for various purposes: client services, marketing, competition, product etc. as and when required.
Candidate’s profile:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in a similar advisory role in an educational system;
- A degree (preferably in Education, specifically in guidance counselling);
- Analytical and adept at decision-making;
- Attentive to details and well organized;
- Oriented toward service;
- Good at planning and organizing;
- Empathetic and sociable: Able to offer solutions and connect with students, teachers, and officials;
- Skilled in identifying issues and brainstorming potential solutions;
- Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills (Russian and English);
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with other team members;
- Able to meet aggressive deadlines;
- Qualified with a degree in curriculum and instruction or education leadership.
