Reel One Entertainment is looking for a Distribution Assistant to join our London, UK, office as part of the International Distribution team.

Position Overview:*
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Head of International Distribution, the Distribution Assistant will be responsible for assisting the SVP in business development activities.

Main Responsibilities:*
Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Be engaged with and track status of client conversations/feedback and set reminders for action
- Manage diary and tasks for busy SVP, with an interest in and ability to assess business priorities. Regularly set both internal and external calls and meetings. Proactively chase when needed
- Organize SVP’s foreign client trips and busy international TV markets: plan an efficient schedule, secure vital meetings, book travel
- Assist in preparing sales pitches, for both movies and series
- Track latest media world trends and deals
- Research new business opportunities (clients, territories, new angles for existing client relationships)
Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Help to organise company’s participation in Film/TV markets
- Research tasks such as tracking developing careers of our actors, or tracking movie ratings of big clients
- The role could grow to encompass all areas of the SVP’s role, including commenting on movie titles, trailers, production cuts, scripts, or reaching out to clients
- In charge of office management and various tasks such as petty cash and credit card reconciliation
- Coordinate and organize various Human Resources initiatives, including booking Christmas and Summer party
- Assist IT with troubleshooting as well as coordinating onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Other ad hoc tasks
Who You Are:
- First-class organization skills – Diligence and attention to detail an absolute must.
- A can-do, proactive attitude
- Ability to deal with fast paced and fast changing schedules and priorities
- Interested in international distribution, business development
- Interested in trends in global TV
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office – advanced Excel is essential

The candidate will be trained to use internal software: Asana and Filmtrack
