Dessert Finisher
Chantilly Patisserie Limited is a well-established independently owned business situated in Paignton, on the south coast of Devon. Chantilly Patisserie manufacture’s high quality handmade deliciously stylish and innovative desserts, all handmade then frozen and sold wholesale.

Working at Chantilly Patisserie is varied and rewarding, working as part of a team, where training is provided in our existing procedures/guidelines/recipes to always ensure consistency and quality of the product.
Our products are produced with the best Westcountry cream, Belgium Couverture, and the finest quality fruit.
What we need from you
We are a growing business and are looking for an individual who enjoys the finer art of applying detail and consistent quality, to give our products that Wow factor when finished, using skills such as piping and decorating with fruits, creams, and glazes.
· Being a team player is essential.
· Being practical and keen to do a job well is essential, if you are highly motivated to produce work to a high standard individually, this quality is recognised and valued.
· There is manual handling involved, good physical health is an advantage as this work will require you to work standing up for long periods of time, and lift and carry heavy equipment.
· Evidence of recent Food Safety and Health and Safety training that is compliant is an advantage.
Key Tasks:
What follows is an outline of duties required of this position, full training will be given
- To work under supervision as part of the production team
- To produce products to the standard and specification required
- To follow established procedures to always ensure consistency and quality of the product
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to and maintained.
- Be aware of own responsibilities in relation to hazard control, health and safety, and personal and production hygiene
- To meet set production targets as directed by the Production Manager/Shift supervisor
- To operate a ‘clean as you go’ method of work to maintain safety within the workplace
- To clean down the whole work area at the end of each shift, using correct products and methods

Salary: From £9.50 per hour
Hours of work:
Full-time: 40 hours a week (3pm - 11.30pm)
Part-time: We can offer Part-time hours with this role between 20 – 30 hours per depending on business needs. When applying please state you wish to enquire regarding part-time hours.
