This Darzi Fellow role will work within CHS to explore the areas of pressing need within long term condition management for action to tackle health inequalities and proactive and preventative care, improving health outcomes for people with and at risk of long term conditions and improving patient and clinician satisfaction.
This Darzi Fellow post will be a 12-month fellowship challenge alongside a PGCert Leadership in Health (Darzi) over the course of the 2023/24 academic year. The Fellowships will enable development of the organisational and leadership skills necessary for future roles as consultants and clinical leaders. The successful applicant will gain these skills through working on current service improvement projects across the local health economy and within the Trust. The Fellow will be supported by an organisational change programme commissioned by Health Education England and through regular meetings with other Fellows in learning sets with an experienced facilitator.
The Darzi Fellowship is considered a prestigious post and is highly recommended for aspiring clinical leaders. The successful applicant will work on projects that are centrally involved in setting up a new, strategic, consistent and accessible approach to quality improvement with clear vision, purpose and simple but effective methodology to ensure cost minimisation/effectiveness
