You could be a part of this as we’re currently looking for a Consents Strategy Manager to join our established team within the Consents and Operating Office. You’ll play a key role in delivering the Marketing Consent Strategy for LBG; Identifying opportunities to grow the marketable base, unlocking group wide value.
This is an outstanding opportunity to craft the future marketing of LBG in developing and implementing our Consent Strategy, thus ensuring we continue to grow value & deliver excellent outcomes through personalised interactions, whilst doing the right thing for our customers.
This is a varied role, collaborating with partners across many areas in the group. You’ll be understanding deep customer and colleague research and analysis, to put forward recommendations that adhere to data privacy regulations. You’ll understand the commercial benefits and risk and have the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders. Working with technical delivery teams you'll see the full end to end, delivering significant impactful change for LBG.
Your key responsibilities will include …
  • Using data and insight, take the Lead on developing Strategies that maximise the size of the customer base to which we can deliver personalised interactions.
  • Understanding the Business, Customer and Colleague requirements to brief technical teams with requirements for delivering our Strategy
  • Collaborating with group-wide partners (e.g. PEC Platform, Legal, Consumer Relationships, Business Units, Channels, and wider CCO functions), to ensure their input and support with recommendations
  • Preparation of strategic presentations, proposals and governance materials for committees up to, and including Consumer Relationships Executive Committee,
  • Understanding customer and business OKR and supporting key investment decisions
  • Understanding the Data and Management Information to advise how we are tracking against our Objectives
Essential Skills …
  • Excellent Storytelling – the ability to take complex information and distil this into compelling stories, engaging all levels up to director. Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking - Ability to think future state, calling on inputs (insight, research, horizon regulation) and determine what that may mean and actions we need to consider – providing scenarios/options, but also recommendations that are actionable
  • An energetic, self-motivated and inquisitive character with high levels of attention to detail
  • Confident working with ambiguity and making recommendations
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with an ability to communicate clearly and influence at all levels
Desirable Skills …
  • Experience understanding data privacy regulation, GDPR and PECR.
  • Experience in data & technical delivery, in particular for the delivery of customer communications.
