Job Description

A customer facing field based role, interacting and supporting independent and national UK brands on-site with everything from sharing bean origin to maintenance of specialist Barista equipment by delivering individual and in-depth group training sessions to improve the customer experience.

The Role:

  • Act as Company Coffee Ambassador at all times, ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered, ensuring customer and company procedures and standards are adhered to at all times and endeavour to improve the quality of after sales support.
  • Demonstrate a high level of coffee product knowledge by understanding principle differences between artisanal and commercial blends, keeping up to date with key market trends and movements to support industry events.
  • Work in partnership with Sales and Operations to ensure new and replacement equipment installations are to plan, with detailed training delivered, leaving the customer with confidence in how to maintain their coffee quality and equipment.
  • Demonstrate confidence in how to use and maintain a broad range of coffee machines, with an ability to identify and repair basic technical fault fixes to avoid unnecessary service calls, keeping the customer’s equipment operational.
  • Complete customer machine quality control audits and make necessary alterations, to maintain coffee quality by completing an overall equipment condition check, highlighting on-going training needs and/or service support updating internal business systems.
  • Report business development opportunities within existing customer locations and potential new opportunities, identifying opportunities to add value to equipment, products or services supplied within our existing customer base.

Salary: £23,400 + Company Car + 25 days holiday + Life Assurance + EAP + other Company benefits.
