On Wednesday 22nd February 2023, we are welcoming job seekers to our Filton, Bristol site to discuss current and future career opportunities with us. We welcome and encourage applicants from all industry backgrounds. If you would like to pre-register for this event, please upload your CV now.
Why attend?
We don't want our jobs to be defined by a single advert. Our open days are a chance for both experienced professionals and future talent to have genuine chats with real people about what it's like to work here.
On the day you can expect colleagues from a wide range of teams, willing and ready to share their insights with you about the defence industry, their expertise, and how they feel about their colleagues and workplace.
In 2022 our employee reviews on Glassdoor have led to us being the only UK defence company to make it on to the Glassdoor Best Places to Work list.
We are proud to be an inclusive employer and we welcome and encourage applicants/attendees from all backgrounds. We are always looking to expand and diversify our talent pool, as we know that a diverse workplace breeds collaboration and innovation. MBDA representatives from some of our inclusivity employee networks will also be in attendance on the day of the event, should you wish to discuss anything with them.
MBDA Bristol
Our Bristol MBDA facilities can be found on the BAE Systems site in Filton, close to several major transport routes, making it easily accessible from Bristol city centre, as well as South Wales, Gloucestershire, and further afield. In addition to ample on-site parking, colleagues working on site have access to facilities which include an all-day barista-style café, and a canteen for lunch; both with heavily subsidised prices on food and drink.
What does MBDA do?
At MBDA we are proud to be one of Europe's leading defence companies. We design and manufacture missiles and missile systems used to protect the UK and its allies. Our products and services are used by each branch of the UK armed forces, so we work closely with the MOD, governments, and other defence manufacturers to ensure the highest of standards are met at all times.
We have offices throughout Europe, and in the UK you can find our teams in Bristol, Stevenage, Henlow and Bolton. Learn more about our mission, values and locations on our about us page.
Experienced Professionals - Help us deliver the future of defence
As an employer, we bring together experts from a range of engineering and business disciplines, and wider industry skillsets, to innovate, create and build products and services that can be used by our armed forces and their allies. Put another way, we develop solutions that face the threats of today and tomorrow.
We're always looking to speak with people who have unique experiences and perceptions to help us expand the expertise of our teams. In return, you'll get to work with some of the brightest and most inquisitive minds in the industry to help you grow and develop too.
Visit our careers website (the job search page) to see our vacancies and job disciplines in Bristol (as well as those at our other sites). If you don't see an exact match for your skills but still think there could be something for you at MBDA, we strongly encourage you to come along to the event and speak with us.
Our UK Resourcing team will be available on the day of the event to help direct you to the right teams.
Apprenticeships, Graduate Schemes, and more!
