Job Overview
Print Bureau are seeking a highly creative Junior graphic designer to join their team. Candidates will have a strong eye for design demonstrated by a broad portfolio of work, an ability to think commercially as well as creatively applying this thinking to real-world challenges, as well as the flexibility to adapt to different styles of working and tight deadlines. You will need to evidence the ability to take projects from concept through to completion.
Day to day tasks include:
- Creation of visual concepts
- Communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate
- Creation of overall layout and design for brochures, flyers, websites, advertisements
- Creation of newsletters and mailshots
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating artwork and designs according to clients specifications
- Following designs from concept to final sign-off
- Proofing, amending and processing customer artwork and preparing them for press
- Account handling, leading projects and managing your design team
- Assisting the Branch Manager and performing assigned tasks within overall production workflow
- Using workflow resources (Trello) actively by taking part in daily production meetings, to meet deadlines and requirements
- Liaising with clients, building relationships and communicating clearly and effectively to both receive briefs and manage client expectations
- Development of in-house marketing materials, helping to generate sales and leads
- General administrate duties to include answering email and phone enquiries
About You
- 1- 2 years minimum industry experience
- University degree or equivalent in Graphic Design
- Strong conceptual thinking, layout and typography skills
- Proficient in Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Experience managing a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Great time management skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and act on directions
- A strong desire to learn and progress within the sector
- Ability to communicate and engage effectively with customers
- An understanding of digital and lithographic printing and finishing techniques and procedures

We supply both small and large run jobs in a variety of printed media. We are looking for a to join our team. Salary: £18,000 to £22,000 depending on experience
Hours of work: 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday
