The Role

• Draft, analyse and review Policy Wordings and contracts and suggest improvements, clarifications and enhancements to the Account Manager/ Account Executive/ Client as required
• Ensure that the coverage being sought from Underwriters clearly and unambiguously meets the clients demands and needs
• Develop and maintain a suite and library of WTW Aerospace wordings, clauses and accompanying slip templates to promote best practise
• Provide support and training to Account Managers and Brokers to enhance the technical capabilities of the department and to develop, implement and maintain a training plan to ensure the level of technical competency in the BU is at the required level and that new associates receive the necessary support in their development
• Design and implement technology-led initiatives to streamline the placement process with regards to the issuance of timely and accurate contractual documentation to clients
• Assist in the design and development of new WTW Aerospace products
• Assist in the technical analysis of existing coverage during RFPs

The Requirements

• Degree level qualification
• Technical knowledge of coverages, clauses and wordings is preferable but not essential
• Strong eye for detail
• Problem solving
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, both oral and written
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Skilled at building effective relationships, at all levels
• Ability to recognise and implement operational improvement processes
• Able to assist in designing and developing contemporary educational solutions
