An exciting opportunity to become part of a talented and dedicated kitchen team at the celebrated bistro in the heart of Manchester City Centre, Kala.
We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team at Kala.
This role would suit a motivated and friendly individual with a passion for cooking fresh produce. Somebody that takes a great sense of personal pride from doing the best they can do and enjoys the hustle and bustle of a city centre bistro.
As Chef De Partie your main aim will be to maintain the highest possible standards of food preparation and service in line with the standards set out by Elite Bistros and your head chef. You will aid the head and sous chef in the smooth running of the kitchen and service. You will be competent in running a section of the kitchen and take responsibility for all of your section’s preparation, ordering, hygiene and other daily duties.
With a huge focus on in-house, freshly prepared food Kala proudly holds 1 AA rosettes for it's food. Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred but not necessary. We carry out continuous on-the-job training, so a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills will be your most valued attributes.
Salary advertised is £31,500 OTE inclusive of basic salary at £10.42 per hour and additional tronc payments of up to £6,500 p.a.
