Job Description
Working in the grounds team, you’ll contribute to the overall success of the park, by ensuring immaculate standards are maintained at all times, of our holiday park grounds. You will be responsible for providing an excellent service and delivering consistently high standards.
Duties will include:
- Carry out repairs on site/in venues, and caravans in line with instructions from Maintenance.
- Carry out repairs and restructure drains/groundwork/buildings.
- Carry out repairs to equipment in accommodation units/caravans in line with job requests and to the agreed operating standards.
- To deliver gas bottles as and when requested by the Office/General Manager.
- Distribute deliveries from a central point to the relevant department.
- Collection of rubbish and litter/bins, depositing it in the nearest refuse compound, including litter picking the park as and when required.
- Provide support to other departments where applicable.
- Grass cutting
- Ensuring park standards are maintained.
- Complying with all Company and legal policies and procedures
- Ensure the park grounds are kept to the highest quality and standard for our guests
- Delivering a 'breath of fresh air' experience for our guests through the upkeep of beautiful grounds and gardens, contributing to guest advocacy and customer satisfaction.
- To assist the grounds maintenance team with general duties as and when required
- Undertake park maintenance throughout the park, including, but not limited to mowing, leaf blowing, painting, litter picking, bin clearance, garden waste disposal, edging, deck removal, pressure washing, planting, hedge cutting, strimming and spraying as required.
- Providing a safe and secure environment for all guests through the maintenance of the park.
- Ensuring all work areas are presented and managed to the highest level at all times.
- Ensuring all internal & statuary obligations are met
- Any other duty as directed by your line manager, commensurate with your role.
Experience and Skills
Experience in grounds man or horticultural task desirable, and work under supervision
Excellent time management skills.
Able to work unsupervised at all times.
Be able to work as part of a team.
Be able to maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Professional manner at all times.
