Network IT are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Security Analyst to join our Clients dynamic team. Based in Wiltshire, on a hybrid working condition, you will play a vital role in protecting our organisation's information systems and digital assets from potential threats and vulnerabilities. You will work under the guidance of senior analysts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about cybersecurity to gain hands-on experience and develop a solid foundation in the field.

Salary: Up to £35,000

Below are key responsibilities for the role:
- Review of security control application effectiveness of Prolinx and its customers

Review of security incidents and ensure correct closure and future prevention

Assist in local InfoSec reviews and feedback from external audits

Help drive security and compliance awareness across the business

Involvement in Operational Security Services such as SOC, SIEM, Penetration Testing & Vulnerability scanning

Review of security related change requests that are received for Data Centre customer tenancies

Pro-actively identify areas for security improvement and engage with end users to achieve these improvements
Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, GSEC) are a plus.

Solid understanding of information security principles, concepts, and best practices

Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and intrusion detection/prevention systems

Basic knowledge of networking protocols, TCP/IP, and network architecture

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and troubleshoot security incidents effectively

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Familiarity with industry regulations and frameworks, such as PCI DSS, NIST, or ISO 27001, is advantageous
